Review: Fyrinnae

Row 1, L-R: Titania, Rapunzel Had Extensions, Tasmanian Devil
Row 2, L-R: Adam & Steve, Digital Faeries, Cheshire Cat Grin
Row 3, L-R: Sea Turtle, Leshii, Android Angel, Fujiro
Row 4, L-R: Platinum, Damn Paladins, Cookie Dough, Beholder

Overall these are great eyeshadows. Now I prefer a softer, more subtle look so I don't use a primer, just layer them over my foundation base.

Product Review: Revlon Peach Petal & Coral Reef lipglosses

Need to start off by reminding you all that I'm very pale & cool-toned. In a recent pic, my skin looked positively pink (and my hair looked orange. Damn that was a bad pic. lol). These Super Lustrous lipglosses have been getting a lot of press recently & they definitely live up to the hype. I already owned 3 (Nude Lustre, Glossy Rose & Cherries in the Glow) and I bought 2 of the ones pictured above, Peach Petal (2nd from the left) and Coral Reef (far right). Both are quite true to bottle shade and surprisingly both work quite well on me. Peach Petal, while too light for many people, gives me a nice light peach-y lip, very wearable. Coral Reef, I was worried would be too warm or too orange but its a true coral & again, very wearable.
I'm considering getting Pink Pop as well but I already have so many pink lipglosses that I haven't taken the plunge yet.

Basic makeup

This is the makeup I use as the base for almost every look. I can narrow it down by using the Colorstay as a spot concealer & under eyes, e/l & mascara and done. But if I have more than a minute this is what I use.
Start out by applying Maybelline Pure all over, then using Colorstay around nose & eyes. Then use Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer under eyes, setting w/Revlon Matte in Peach Sorbet. I contour/bronze my fave w/Rimmel Natural in Sunlight, applying under cheekbones, around temples, down face & around frame of face. Then use a skunk brush to apply Hard Candy bronzer in Tiki (it's so light I use as a highlighter in the summer months) to top of cheekbones & on browbone. Milani Luminous on apples of cheeks. Wet n Wild cream e/l along top lashline (sometimes use a black e/s wet as a liner for a more casual look). Curl lashes. Mascara. Fill in brows w/the dark brown matte e/s in the Maybelline Natural Smokes quad (very light hand).

I usually just vary the eyeshadow & lipcolors. If I'm doing a bright lip I skip the blush. Sometimes I change the blush if I'm doing a warmer eye (then I use L'Oreal HIP cream blush in Enamoured) or if I'm doing a pinker look I'll use a pink blush (Wet n Wild Heather Silk, Wet n Wild Coy) or sometimes I'll make the blush the focal point (Tarte Cloud Nine or Stila CC in Petunia).

Product Review: N.Y.C. Blushable Creme Stick in Plaza Pink

This is the lightest shade available, a shimmery peach color. I already have a few peach blushes so didn't really need this but WTH, figured I'd try it anyway. It's fine. lol. It doesn't really thrill me & its not going to replace any of my other peach blushes. I also tried it on lips, eyes & cheeks (since I've really been wanting a product for that). The color is slightly off (on me) to use it that way but I might check the other shades for something pinker or bronzer since it does apply nicely, even to lips.
Overall, they are worth checking out. Good quality for the price

Product Review: Physican's Formula Bamboo Bronzer in Light

I decided to get this bronzer after seeing it almost every April magazine (Earth day is in April so everyone had eco spreads). I got this in Light, which you can tell in the pic above is quite light. Well, even being *super* pale, this is still too light for me. I sat in front of the mirror in broad daylight & applied to one side of my face & even at close inspection couldn't tell I had anything on.
I plan on experimenting with this a little more before putting it in the giveaway pile. Its an odd feeling to have something be too light for me.

Here is a pic comparing it to my HG bronzer Rimmel Natural in Sun Light (the lightest shade & matte).

Overall the texture is nice & if you truly are a ghost this might be perfect for you. I'm considering trying the Medium shade but since I don't really need it... IDK.
