Magazine Review: People StyleWatch August 2010 - Beyonce

This is one of my favorite magazines but it's so difficult to review since it doesn't really have defined articles, just a lot of pictures, with topics that might only last for 1 page. Overall, just get it every month. You won't be disappointed.
One of the longer articles was 15 Hot Fall Trends (military, lace up booties, vibrant eyeshadow, clogs, etc). The military look really shouldn't be considered a trend anymore since it's pretty much seen every season. Can we just say it's classic & move on?
Comment: Why the hell do they have Jersey Shore's The Situation giving his POV on women's outfits? Does anyone really want to attract a guy like that?

Magazine Review: People StyleWatch June/July 2010 - Lauren Conrad

Not a lot of notes for this issue. Lots of cute pieces scattered throughout the issue. Some standouts include The Best SHorts for Your Body, Summer Work Looks & 6 pgs of sunglasses.

I always think of this as a must-buy but its not quite as thrilling this month

Magazine Review: People StyleWatch April 2010 - Jennifer Aniston

The best part of the issue (for me) were the 2 pages of Jennifer Aniston's style. I always look to her for casual simple chic. They have an 8 page spread on spring denim, including how to wear denim-on-denim & a few different denim legging options, neither of which are looks I plan on wearing. I did mark a few pages of cute outfits to try & am now lemming a splatter-paint tee, Kendra Scott turquoise earrings & the Nine West knockoff of the Valentino Rose bag.
As for beauty, I checked several reviews after reading The Look for Less: Kim Kardashian (wearing her typical nude-glowy look). They had some very low priced options in both columns. And I found a few new hairstyles to try after reading the Spring Hair Guide.
